There are many technically excellent photographs that fail on a compositional level.
A photograph that exhibits technical mastery but doesn’t show creativity is an empty photograph.
Don’t discount technical skill. The more technical skill that you have the more creative you can be, but always remember that technical mastery serves creativity.
