You know how some pictures just have that thing that grabs people‘s interest, and they get lost in the photograph.
It’s happened to me, and I imagine it’s happened to you.
Ya’ ever wonder why that is?
Or maybe we’ve even made that photograph that stands out from the rest of our pictures and others’ pictures, it just gets a viewer's attention and keeps it.
What’s going
on with that?
It sure ain’t about our equipment.
What holds the viewers' attention is that we’ve effectively expressed our unique visual voice, which somehow affected the viewer.
Our unique visual voice has to do with our understanding of camera operation, composition, light, and our approach to photography- it’s not a photograph based on what we saw, it’s a photograph based on how we think about what we saw
