( First, a heads up that the Photography Basics/Introduction to
Photography class—Starts This Sunday! )
——-
Sometimes we feel like we’re getting nowhere in our photography studies and practice.
That’s because we’re stuck on something we don’t understand how to do.
When I first started photography, I went through that a lot, and I still experience it now,
although less frequently.
This is because since we don’t understand what we’re doing, we gotta go through that learning curve.
Yeah, it seems like a pain, but it’s worth it.
We make mistakes, we feel like failures,
and we get frustrated, which leads us to start doubting our abilities as photographers.
That ain’t a good road to go down.
But we’ve got a choice of two roads to go down as a photographer.
One is a road of misunderstanding, and the other is a road of understanding.
On the road of misunderstanding, we get nowhere.
On the road of understanding, we use the compass of learning to get us where we wanna go.
The compass always
points us to learning about camera operation, composition, and light.
Camera operation, composition, and light might seem like different roads, but they’re not.
We could think of them as necessary things we need to know about the road we’re traveling on to get to the place we wanna be.
And that place for all of us is to be a better photographer.
I help photographers move from a road of frustrated misunderstanding to a road of confident
understanding.
Here’s how I can help.
You’ll learn to do that during my
Photography Basics/Introduction to Photography class.
But if the group schedules don’t work for you, you can schedule
private photography lessons for a more personalized approach.
Or join my Online Learning Platform; you’ll have a bunch of photography lessons at your disposal anytime and anywhere you want.
However you choose to learn me, I’ll help you be a better photographer-study and practice photography with me.
