"By understanding photography" is the short answer to the question posed in the subject of this email.

The longer answer is understanding how camera operation, composition, and light relate.

But "How do we get the most out of our cameras?" isn't the best question to ask.

A better question is, "How can we get the most out of our understanding of photography?"

Because how we answer that question will inform us how to get the most out of our cameras.

The more we understand photography, the more we can get out of our cameras and the better pictures we make.

The Photography Basics (Introduction To Photography) class starts in early August; If you don't wanna wait 'till then you can also take this class as a series of Private Lessons.

And remember, we learn and improve by doing, so practice making at least one picture daily.

A note about group class sizes: Did you know that some places that teach photography have up to 25 students in each class? 

Bigger ain't always better.

That's why I limit my group classes to no more than five participants because smaller classes make for better, more effective, and more efficient learning experiences.

But smaller classes also mean spots fill up quicker, so sign up soon.
