When it comes to photography, we either get it or we don’t get it.

When we don’t get it, we don’t understand how to make the pictures we want, or when we make a picture that doesn’t come out the way we want it to, we don’t know why.

On the other hand, when we know what we’re doing when it comes to photography, we understand how to make the picture we want, OR we understand that although we can’t get the picture we want, we make the best we can, OR when we make a mistake, we understand why the picture didn’t come out the way we wanted.

A lot of our photography studies and practice are about understanding and knowing the whys and hows.
 

There's a Photography Basics (Introduction To Photography) class starting on Sunday, June 1; you can also take this class as a series of Private Lessons.

And remember, we learn and improve by doing, so practice making at least one picture daily.

A note about group class sizes: Did you know that some places that teach photography have up to 25 students in each class? 

Bigger ain't always better.

That's why I limit my group classes to no more than five participants because smaller classes make for better, more effective, and more efficient learning experiences.

But smaller classes also mean spots fill up quicker, so sign up soon.
