Wanna be a better photographer?
Enrollment and engagement are crucial to becoming the photographers we wanna become.
Regardless of skill level, all photographers can benefit from both, but enrollment and engagement ain't the same.
Engagement is the joy we have when we get thoroughly involved in the process of our photography studies and practice.
For photographers, everything we do is part of our process, from picking out our camera to critiquing our photographs.
But the bulk of our engagement happens when
we're involved in creating a picture.
On the other hand, our commitment to change is enrollment.
When we're enrolled in the process, it means that when we encounter difficulties, we willingly push through them because the outcome of moving through the difficulty is a part of getting to our goal of being a better photographer.
Of course, engagement and enrollment interrelate a lot.
I see the interplay of enrollment and engagement in the
photographers I work with all the time.
And to have one, it's best to have the other because If we really wanna be better photographers, it requires our enrollment.
After all, if we struggle with our engagement, it'll be our enrollment that'll pull us through.

A note about group class sizes: Did you know that some places that teach photography have up to 25 students in each
class?
Bigger ain't always better.
That's why I limit my group classes to no more than five participants because smaller classes make for better, more effective, and more efficient learning experiences.
But smaller classes also mean spots fill up quicker, so sign up soon.
