We learn a lot of things, and we know a lot of things.

But learning and knowing aren't enough.

For example, just because someone learns what an architect does and knows what steel and wood are doesn't make 'em an architect.

Being an architect involves doing architecture. 

Of course, one needs to learn and know the materials, but they'd need more than that. 

The doing is what's important. 

Of course, the same applies to photography. 

I work with a lot of photographers who've learned and know about cameras, lenses, apertures, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, focusing, etc.. 

However, more than learning and knowing is needed. 

Learning and knowing about those things is one thing. 

Still, we need to work with the equipment and apply what we learn and know to ensure our abilities as skilled photographers are realized.

During today's  Introduction To Photography class, there'll be learning, knowing, and plenty of doing.  

You'll learn, know, and do in each of my classes.
