We can find plenty of stuff to photograph anytime and anywhere. 

It's simply a matter of seeing things and organizing them into the frame of our photograph. This is another way to think of the compositional process. 

However, depending on the camera we use, we can have more or fewer tools to organize what we see into a photographic composition. 

On a base level, whether we're using the camera on our phone or a more complex camera, we can organize the objects we see into the frame of our photograph (framing and content).

However, we don't need to limit organization to mean only framing and content. We can include all the other camera operations as visual organization tools while composing pictures. 

For example, we can think of focusing as organizing sharpness.

We can think of exposure as organizing tonality, blur, and depth of field. 

And we can think of ISO as also organizing tonality but adding the element of noise to manage.

Comparatively speaking, a more complex camera, like a DSLR or mirrorless camera, gives us more stuff to work with as organizing tools than the cameras on our phones. 

But it doesn't matter which camera we use. Because as long as we understand how to use the tools on our cameras to organize our work, our work acquires more depth in composition.

And remember, we learn and become better by doing, so make sure to practice by making at least one picture today.
